Ann has been practicing exclusively in healthcare transactions for 22 years. She knows healthcare! She has worked in a Big Law Firm representing health systems and physicians groups, as in-house counsel for a multi-state pediatric health system AND started her own practice 16 years ago.
80% of what she does is representing individual physicians as they negotiate employment agreements and then navigate issues as they arise. Her favorite client is a female physicians so it is such a treat to have her here tonight!!!
Ann is one of the most highly regarded physician attorneys in the country. She worked in the American Health Lawyers Association, for 10 years as vice chair and eventually chair of the Physician Practice Group. No one has ever been a leader in that group that long. She is the only attorney with a physician-centric practice to serve on the Board of Directors of that association, interacting with the main attorney at DHHS OIG and in-house attorneys from leading health systems, payers and academic medical centers from around the country. She's also been the guest on two podcasts on physician employment agreements with Carrie on The Hippocratic Hustle. Ann has also spoken at national meetings for the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Surgeons.
